Who are we?
Forward Movement Youth Outreach (FMYO) is a
non-profit organization designed to combat juvenile
delinquency in North San Diego County.
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to provide educational and
recreational opportunities, for young people, 12-21
years old, that will encourage them to be productive
and responsible citizens in our neighborhoods.
Vision Statement:
Our Goals:
- Provide proactive intervention in the lives of teens that are deemed to be
"at risk".
- Provide youth with an opportunity to discover, develop, and use their
unique talents and gifts.
- Provide a safe environment where teens can have fun.
- Model and teach a moral value system that profits youth as well as fellow
members of the community.
- Fully develop the community's involvement with Forward Movement
including volunteers, as well as professional and financial support.
Our vision is that every young person, regardless of race or socioeconomic
status, realizes their potential and becomes successful in all of their endeavors.
